AI staff are a group of AI employees that work for a company, each with a role, and that can work together as a team.
The plural matters. One AI employee can answer WhatsApp messages. AI staff can run a front desk: one staffer receives every message, another handles billing questions, a third books appointments, and a lead takes the escalations.
Working as staff means working to the same structure as people: a department, a manager, shifts, approvals and a record of the work. Staff hand work to each other with the context attached, so a customer does not have to repeat themselves. It also means each staffer can be reviewed on its own.
On Staff.work, you hire AI staff by grade (Assistant, Specialist or Lead) and group them into teams. Job Fit can suggest which staff would cover a job description you paste in. Each staffer keeps its own work log, so you can see who did what.
